MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BEST THING EVER (BTE)
I found Washiela Solomons Interiors through The Best Thing Ever's curtains and upholstery listing. After my experience with the supplier, I tried to submit negative feedback to the same platform.
The BTE owner said negative feedback was not allowed there, directed me to HelloPeter, and explained that a listed business would be removed after more than one negative report. My review was not published on BTE.

The following short extracts are from the message sent by the owner of The Best Thing Ever after my complaint about Washiela Solomons Interiors was passed on.
“This is not allowed on BTE.”
“If she wants to post negative feedback, she can use Hello Peter.”
“If I receive more than 1 negative post about someone listed on the site, I do remove them.”
The message said this was the first complaint BTE had received about Washiela, that positive recommendations had been checked as authentic, and that the complaint would be passed to the supplier. It also said that another negative report would lead to the supplier being removed from the website and recommendations being removed from the Facebook group.

I chose a supplier through BTE, but my later negative experience was not added to the BTE listing. In my view, customers should understand this stated approach when using the platform's recommendations to make a decision.
